Instead you join a faction at the beginning and try to take over the world map. It also completely removes the Clear Sky storyline, which might be a good or bad thing for you. Heads up on a mod I played with this weekend called The Faction War. I just liked having the overview maps, I’m a completionist at heart, so I went back to grab a lot I missed about 3/4 of the way into the game. So while I definitely recommend playing without relying on this site to much, if you want to get the detector I mentioned, it is the third youtube video displayed that shows you how to get there if you are unable to figure it out. However, it is a huge help to obtain it early if you want, and makes artifact hunting a little more clearer.Īlthough this site is in Russian, it has some excellent overview maps and youtube videos for some of the tougher to get to things.

In the swamps once you leave the camp, at the very top left of the map there is a bridge with a high end detector (actually shows approximate location relative to you). It just seems to make me walk into anamolies… Save Drifter from the dogs, escort him back to the village. Go to Wolf at the pile of energy drinks, take his quest, do a hardsave in case Drifter dies. F3- Info got from the Drifter named d00d.F2- At the entrance from Swamps next to the army base, go a bit higher at the beginning of the tunnel, there is a body with a backpack, the backpack has it.F1- Car park, at the military commander's body.13- Entrance to Swamps' North-East side.11- Train ruin thingy (and also a Chaser 13 shotgun around it).
